About Me

My name is Sue and I am passionate about English! Whether you are looking for help with AQA GCSE English Language or Literature (or both), here in the Somerset area, I’d love to help and share my expertise and enthusiasm with you.

I have a BA honours degree in English and Sociology  from the University of Surrey, and am fully DBS checked.

My approach is very much student lead and any material can be adapted to individual needs and levels. I can offer help with understanding course material, homework, revision, exam practice as well as organisational and study skills. Whether you are starting Year 10, 11 or doing November, resits, whether you are in school or being schooled at home we can work together to build your confidence and equip you with the tools for exam success.

I am based near Glastonbury and am able to see students both at home and online. I am available during the day and evenings Monday to Friday and some weekends by arrangement.
